The Inauguration
It will be an honor and privilege to attend the 2009 Presidential Inauguration and share the experience on my blog Living Life Abundantly at www.Marenda.Biz
Those that read Living Life Abundantly and those that know me personally, know how involved I was with the campaign from volunteering, to rallying, to blogging.
Today (January 2nd 2009), I received notification from my local Congress woman that my name was selected to receive 1 ticket to attend the inauguration. (I had all but given up hope that I would even get a ticket considering the millions of people trying to get them)... so I did not buy a plane ticket because I had no assurance that I would have an inauguration ticket. Now I feel like Charlie from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory with the golden ticket from Willy Wonka!
I have friends all around the DC area that will open their homes to me. I just need the plane ticket to get there...most of which are $600 plus at this point.
Will you help me get to the inauguration? Every little bit helps. I thank you for any love offering you can make.
